From GOoC: Data is a kind of Magical Boy series manga by Tachibana Kaimu. The two main characters, Sakura and Yuki, are on quests to gather stones with magical powers. In doing so they are also hoping to uncover the mystery as to why they both seem to have lost their memory. Although this is a shoujo series, I'm pretty positive theres also something shounen-ai going on between the two (subtle but there....). A lot of new characters who are also "hosts" for the stones join in the fun as the story progresses.

While taking a short cut across campus to get to work, Shirahama Miharu interrupts a rendezvous between playboy Sumikawa Kaichi and his girlfriend and accidentally witnesses their breakup. Kaichi is not only unconcerned but actually helps Miharu jump the locked gate so he can make it to work in time. As Miharu thanks Kaichi, offering to repay him with lunch, he blurts out that Kaichi is always with different girls because he's too fickle. No one's ever been so candid to Kaichi before and the novelty and Miharu are fascinating. Is this the beginning of friendship or...?

Tsubasa has always been a little weird and detached, but when he gets dragged into a different world to rescue his supposedly lost mother, his brother Tokimaru knows that there is something more to his background. There they meet up with a mysterious character Shroud, captain of a pirate's ship, and he becomes an aid in their adventures. This is a very mild shounen ai series, but the story is very strong with lots of action, and all the characters are very memorable.
